The First Official Fall Weekend is in the books! 🍂 It’s Week 3 of the #rockingchairqal This week we are finishing up our log cabin blocks 🙌🏻 It’s Week 2 of the #rockingchairqal I loved seeing all the fabric pulls in my feed last week and can’t wait to watch them sew up into blocks. ☺️ Today is the official start of the #rockingchairqal and I am so stinking excited! This week we are selecting and cutting fabrics, which is one of my favorite parts of the whole process. I love making things for him. 🥰 “Momma, can you please make me a quilt with a red dump truck?” I miss the hours I used to get just me and my sewing machine. I really do. But last night I cried just thinking that preschool starts in three weeks. And I know as soon as he walks through that door, my heart is going to break for these crazy summer days. This time last year I had an idea for a quilt sketched out on graph paper with no idea how to turn it into an actual pattern. Swipe for an exciting announcement 👉🏻
