I am so excited to share that my first quilt pattern of 2026, Northern Nights, is now available in my shop!
Northern Nights is by far the most versatile pattern I have written. It is available in four sizes and three different colorways. There are instructions for using yardage, fat quarters or a version that includes a combination of the two!

The pattern includes some of my old favorites (hearts) and also some new-to-me techniques (quarter square triangles). As with many of my patterns, my goal is to make the process as easy and beginner-friendly as possible. To help with that, I have included links to both written tutorials and YouTube posts on how to make quarter square triangles. I promise it is not hard, I just wanted to include extra instructions for anyone who, like me, is new to this technique! :)
As for the name, Northern Nights, it came from my love for my hometown. I was born and raised (and still live) in Upstate, NY. One of my favorite parts of living here is the changing seasons- and that means there is always need for a quilt in the evening. In the winter, we love to cozy by the fire with a book and a warm quilt; and in the summer, we end the night around a campfire, a quilt in our laps. So I hope you make this quilt and use it as often as we do around here!
