Today is Heirloom Sky release day! It is always an exciting day when a new pattern gets released, so I am thrilled to share this new quilt with you!
Heirloom Sky was inspired by a framed papercut project that hung in my husband’s grandmother’s home (seen below). I always admired this piece, so when creating this quilt I decided to bring one of the blocks to life.

The name Heirloom Sky is a nod to the family roots that inspired the design and to the legacy of quilting that continues through generations. Quilting is such a meaningful tradition and I’m sure many of you can relate to how stories and memories get woven into your quilts.
The pattern features a few familiar favorites: stars and hearts. Both are constructed using simple techniques, making this pattern very beginner-friendly!
My goal was to create a design that felt like home—something that captured the warmth of tradition while remaining approachable and simple enough for anyone to make.

The pattern is block based and comes in three different sizes (baby, throw and twin). Cutting instructions are provided for both fat quarters and yardage.
The pattern is now available in my shop for both PDF download and print formats. You can check out all the detail on my cover quilt below.
